今年の4月にＭさんのピンキーリングについてブログを書きました。
そのＭさんから翌月「あの指輪、サイズがぴったり過ぎて、お酒飲みすぎて指がむくむと外し難くなるの。」と ご相談を受けました。
そう、Ｍさんはお酒が大好きなのです。
その時私は「指輪の内側を削ってサイズを広げるのは簡単だけど、もう少し様子をみてみたら。」と答えました。
8月に入った頃、再びＭさんとお会いしました。
私が指輪について質問する前に、Ｍさんが嬉しそうに「あの指輪 調度良くなった！」と教えて下さいました。
指輪は体温などで少しづつ変形しますが、あのピンキーリングには正面が無かったので不思議に思っていると、Ｍさんは ピンキーリングにひとつだけ付いている小さな星☆をいつも自分から見える位置で着けている、と種明かしをして下さいました。
今度はＭさんが「不思議ですね。」と仰ったので、「そういう現象を "なじむ" というのよ。」とお答えしました。
「そうなんだ！ あの指輪は私の手になじんだんだ！ ますます愛着が湧いちゃうな♡ と、嬉しくなることを言って下さいました。
正に、これが「オーダーメイドの良さ」という事を、改めてＭさんが教えて下さったような気がします。
オーターメイドというと高いと思われる方もいらっしゃると思いますが、そんな事はありません。
もし、お疑いなら、今まで私にオーダーしてくださったお客様達に伺ってみて下さい！？
また、オーダーの仕方が分からないという方もいらっしゃいますが、Ｍさんのように「こんな指輪があったらいいな。」と思ったことを そのままお伝えください。
そこから先は私の仕事です。
お客様から伺った言葉からデザインを考え、形にして行きます。
そして、出来上がった作品をお客様にお見せした時に、「そうそう、こういうのが欲しかったの！」と言って頂けた時、初めて私の仕事が完成します。
お客様と一緒にひとつの作品を作り上げることが、私にとっての一番の幸せです。
ま、たまには、Ｍさんのピンキーリングのように サイズがぴったり過ぎることもあるかもしれませんが、しばらく様子を見てくださいね。

[ Attachment to the made-to-order ring ]
I wrote the blog about the pinkie ring of Ms.M in April of this year. I was consulted from Ms.M in May.
"That ring fits my finger too much. It became hard to take off the rig when I drank liquor, and a finger was swelled." she said.
Ms.M loves liquor!
I recommended her to see a little more state.
I met her again in August.
She said that she came to feel well at pinkie ring. That pinkie ring adjusted to her finger at last.
And she said that she felt attachment to the ring more and more, too!
This is the good point of the made-to-order ring.
There is the person thinking that a made-to-order ring is expensive.
But, it is not the truth.
You should ask my customer, if you doubt this fact.
There is the person who does not know the way of the rig of order among them.
Please talk about the ring which you imagine to me.
After having heard it, I make your imagination the design of your ring.
It is my job!
When I show you the finished ring, I am glad when you are pleased.
